Arul Garden Residents Welfare Association in Coimbatore's 94th Ward celebrates Tamizhar Thirunaal and Samathuva Pongal with cultural events and sports competitions.

The Arul Garden Residents Welfare Association in the 94th Ward of Coimbatore South Mandal hosted a vibrant celebration of Tamizhar Thirunaal and Samathuva Pongal yesterday (January 13). The festivities were packed with cultural performances that showcased the rich traditions of Tamil culture.



Rangoli competitions added color to the celebration, while the cricket match and tug-of-war contest brought in a spirit of friendly competition. Ward Councilor Thanalakshmi Ranganathan graced the event as the chief guest, presenting prizes to the competition winners.



The festival was a true community gathering with active participation from local residents and children, exemplifying the unity and joy of the occasion. The Multi-faith Goodwill Movement coordinators, Mr. Ramasamy and Mr. Haji Mohammed Rabi, played significant roles in bringing the event to life.
