A 35-year-old mentally ill woman finally finds her family after been lost for four months from Chennai.

On 10th March, a mentally-ill woman was spotted roaming at the Sathy-Vilankuruchi Road in a very ill state. Good-hearted Samaritans rescued the woman and admitted her at the Government Hospital for treatment. The women after preliminary care was shifted to a shelter home in Pollachi.
The woman continued to be in an ill-mental state and was unable to remember her whereabouts. This morning, the woman was shifted to Eera Nenjam Trust, Coimbatore. Upon interacting to her in a soothing manner, the woman revealed that her name was Arthi and also gave a phone number.
Mahendran Founder of Eera Nenjam Trust immediately got in touch with the number and found that it was Arthi's husband Ramesh.

Ramesh confirmed that the woman was his wife Arthi, who had gone missing from their home in Chennai. Though Ramesh was struck in happiness, he was also shocked to learn about his wife's present mental state.
Ramesh also shared that until four months back, Arthi was in a very normal state and that they also have a daughter named Tamanna.

'One day, a neighbor of us committed suicide and died, after seeing the body of the woman, Arthi was mentally affected. Post the woman's burial, Arthi was always seen restless and was completely struck in fear. All of a sudden one day, she went missing from our home. A complaint has been registered with the Royapettah Police Station.
And, since then we have been frantically looking out for her everywhere. I am very happy to finally find my wife. Me and my daughter extend our sincere thanks to all good hearted people who comforted my wife all this time', Ramesh said.
Speaking on this Mahendran, Eera Nenjam Trust said, 'Arthi's family are on the way to Coimbatore to take her back with them. After due verification of all records, Arthi will be handed over to them, provided she is willing to go with them. We are hopeful that she will get back to normalcy soon'.
