Various Camps Organized in Coimbatore to Celebrate Kalaignar's Centenary

In commemoration of the centenary of Dr. Kalaignar, a series of special camps including medical, loan provision, and women's self-help group formation were conducted in Pollachi, Coimbatore, under the guidance of local leaders.


Coimbatore: Marking the centenary celebration of Dr. Kalaignar, an array of camps were organized in Pollachi town, Coimbatore district, under the guidance of the party leader and honorable Chief Minister. The arrangement, made by MP Brother Mr. Ku. Shanmugasundaram, was executed as per the instructions of South Coimbatore District Secretary Brother Thalapathi Murugesan. The camps included comprehensive medical insurance, small and medium enterprise loan distribution, and the establishment and financing of new women's self-help groups. These camps, held at the Municipal Girls High School premises on Kottur Road, served wards 29, 30, and 33, benefiting a large number of local residents.



The medical camp offered extensive health check-ups and insurance services, reflecting the commitment to enhancing community health and welfare. The initiative was appreciated by the attendees for its accessibility and utility.



The loan distribution camp for small and medium entrepreneurs provided vital financial support, fostering local businesses and entrepreneurship. This initiative was aimed at boosting economic growth and self-reliance in the community.



The formation of new women's self-help groups and provision of loans were significant steps towards empowering women in the community. These groups are expected to encourage entrepreneurship and financial independence among women, contributing to the overall development of the area.
