Kuniyamuthur Hosts Medical Insurance Card Distribution Camp in Commemoration of Kalaignar's Centenary Celebrations

A special camp for distributing Chief Minister's comprehensive medical insurance cards was organized in Kuniyamuthur, also featuring the formation of new women's self-help groups and loan application assistance for small businesses.


Coimbatore: In celebration of the centenary of leader Kalaignar, a significant event was held today [11/02/2024] at the Tajul Islam Sunnath Jamath Marriage Hall in Kuniyamuthur's 88th Ward. Organized under the guidance of Pollachi MP, Thiru K. Shanmugasundaram, and coordinated by Coimbatore North District Party Secretary, Thiru A. Ravi of Thondamuthur, and area party Secretary Thiru C. Loganathan, the event was marked by the distribution of Chief Minister's comprehensive medical insurance cards, worth Rs. 5 lakhs each, to eligible public members.



Furthermore, the camp facilitated the formation of new women's self-help groups and provided assistance for loan applications to start small and micro businesses. The initiative reflects a commitment to supporting community health and entrepreneurial spirit in the region.



The event saw robust participation from local party administrators, ward secretaries, ward party administrators, and a large number of the general public, underlining the community's collective effort in commemorating Kalaignar's legacy.
