In connection with Farooq's Murder, yet another person named Sadam Hussain from Podanur has surrendered in Court No:5 of the District Combined Court, this morning.

However, Sadam's advocate, Zakkriya has stated that, 'Due to pressure of investigation from the Police, Sadam Hussain has surrendered in the Court. And, that he has no connection to the murder. Police suspect involvement of close to 6 people in this murder. However, they do not have any proof for this. In this regard, suspecting Sadam Hussain to be one among the six, Police have been investigating Sadam since the murder. Hence, today Sadam Hussain has surrendered in Court No:5 to assure that he has no connection with the murder'.
Farooq, who was an active Dravida Vidudhalai Kalagam cadre was gruesomely murdered by some strangers on the 16th of March. Initial reports affirmed that Farooq's anti-religious thoughts had been the trigger for his murder. On Saturday, the 17th March, a resident of Podanur named Ansrath surrendered in the Court. Today, yet another person has also surrendered in the Court.
