All India representative Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) hosts its annual meeting in March every year. Every three years, the meeting is hosted in Nagpur. Last year this meeting was hosted in Rajasthan and this year the RSS annual meeting will be hosted in Coimbatore and next year being the third year, the meeting will be hosted in Rajasthan. This meeting is scheduled to be hosted on 21 March. The board of representatives are elected during this meeting and it is this board who elects the general secretary. They also elect provision head every three years.
In this meeting around 1400 representatives are expected to attend this meeting in Coimbatore. There are 11 zones and 42 provinces in India, the state of Tamil Nadu is divided into two provinces namely northern and southern Tamil Nadu. All the provision heads from Kerala, Manipur among other zones and regions are expected to attend this meeting that will be hosted in our city.
Three days will experience the exchange of interaction, brainstorming session and the participants will also use the three days to exchange their experiences. The representatives from each of the provinces will present their respective report and milestones achieved in different fields. A topic for discussion will be taken up and the subject that is expected to be discussed will be made public tomorrow morning.
This meeting is expected to be inaugurated tomorrow morning and Mohan Madhukar Bhagawat who serves as the current Chief (Sarsanghchalak), of the Hindu nationalist organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in India is expected to participate in this inauguration. Since the last two days several party members have been hosting meetings to discuss the various projects that have been taken up by this group. This group has initiated several projects to promote communal harmony and also to promote the Indian breed of cattle and its dung. It has been proved that the Indian breed cattle has a lot of value and demand. There are so many experiments that are taking place in this field to preserve the Indian breed of cattle. By the people’s initiatives development of villages will be discussed. Family values will also be discussed.
