The newly constructed Coimbatore District Collectorate is glowing with colorful lights, as this new building is all set for inauguration tomorrow by Chief Minister Edapadi K. Palanisami. Started in 2014, this new building which is next to the existing Collectorate has been built in a cost of Rs. 20.18 Crores.
Though the building was completed several months ago, the inauguration was delayed due to the unrest political situation in the State. Finally, the multi-storey building will be inaugurated by CM Edapadi Palanisamy tomorrow at 10:30 am in the presence of several top dignitaries.

Following the inauguration, Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisami will distribute several welfare schemes to the people in the Codissia Grounds. Close to 6200 beneficiaries from the districts of Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Nilgris are scheduled to receive the benefits from CM worth Rs. 1313.12 crores.
It has also been reported that heads and representatives of various trade bodies and association are seeking an appointment with the CM to present their requests and discuss with the CM the impact of the budget on the industrial segment.
