K.K. Rajan, President, Southern India Engineering Manufacturers’ Association (SIEMA) has registered his comments on the Tamil Nadu budget for the year
2017-18.
Speaking on this, K.K. Rajan said, 'We welcome the Tamil Nadu Budget announced for the year 2017-18. The allotment of Rs.150 crores for the employment opportunity to the youths is a welcome move.
We request the Government to establish a Skill Development Centre in Coimbatore to provide and enhance the training skills of the youth.
Allocation of close to Rs. 7,000 crores to the agriculturists through co-operative banks is appreciable as it will increase the requirement of pump sets in our State.
Establishment of new Industrial Estates in Coimbatore and provide necessary permissions to the entrepreneurs through Single Window scheme.
New Commercial complexes exclusively for Micro and Medium enterprise should be given importance
'Out of the Rs.7000 crores allotted towards infrastructural development, SIEMA requests the Government to allot a share to Coimbatore towards infrastructural development of this city.
The approval for starting an industry can be availed through online will help the
new entrepreneurs to save their workload and time'. he said.
