Car of woman who filed complaint against Coimbatore Mayor’s family catches fire

A woman named Saranya, who had lodged a complaint against the family of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, saw her car catch fire under mysterious circumstances this afternoon. Thudiyalur police are investigating the matter.



Coimbatore: A woman who had lodged a complaint against Mayor Kalpana's family members caught fire and caught fire.

Saranya hails from Maniyakaranpalayam in Coimbatore. She lives in a house opposite to the house where Mayor Kalpana and her family are staying.

In this situation, she alleged that the mayor's family is harassing her to get him to vacate from the opposite house, dumping garbage and rotten items near the house, pouring urine and placing the enchanted lemons in front of the house. She had lodged a complaint against the Mayor Kalpana family at the police commissioner's office and thudiyalur police station.

Saranya's car caught fire under mysterious circumstances this afternoon.



Saranya lodged a complaint with the police after a part of the car was burnt and damaged in the fire. Based on the complaint, coimbatore city police and forensic department conducted an inspection at the spot.

The police have received a complaint from Saranya in this regard and are investigating the seizure of the car. While the cover was placed on the car, it was found that the fire in the cover had damaged a part of the car.

Thudiyalur police are investigating whether it was a planned or an act of accident.
