We are heading towards the peak of summer and our city is already experiencing water crises. There is shortage of water supply in many parts of Coimbatore. And to make up for this shortage the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) has pressed lorries into service to transport water so that all the wards in our city get their supply of water.
Ahead of this summer, CCMC officials have hosted several meetings in the past to discuss how best we can deal with the failure of monsoons and manage with the limited supply of water this season. A department has been formed and a help line number has been initiated to enable that the public files their water related grievance.
