Sanatan controversy - BJP workers protest by tearing up Minister Udhayanidhi's photo and trampling it

Condemning Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for criticising Sanadhanam, the BJP staged a protest in front of the South Tahsildar's office. The police there arrested the BJP activists after they tore his photo and trampled it to register their protest.



Coimbatore: Bjp workers staged a protest by tearing the photo of Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and kicking him with his feet for criticising 'Sanatanam'.

DMK's youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin had said at an event in Chennai three days ago that sanatan should be abolished. Several Hindu organisations, including the BJP, have condemned it.

Meanwhile, a video of an Ayodhya-based godman named Paramahansha Acharya criticising Udhayanidhi Stalin and saying that he should be killed and that rs 10 crore will be given to those who bring Udhayanidhi Stalin's head has gone viral.

In this case, the swami has spoken in a manner that incites murderousness and murderous frenzy. Various Dravidian organisations, including the DMK, have been filing complaints at the city police commissioner's offices in their respective districts, demanding appropriate action against him.

Moreover, they are condemning the swami on social media. At the same time, the word "Sanatanam" has become the talk of the town in India as various Hindu organisations have claimed that the swami was right.



Meanwhile, the BJP staged a protest in front of the Coimbatore South Tahsildar's office against Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.



A large number of women's groups participated in the protest, led by Coimbatore district president Balaji Uthama Ramasamy, to protest against minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's remarks on Sanadhanam.



They participated with a photo of Udhayanidhi Stalin with slogans like "Condemn" and protested by trampling and tearing the photograph on their feet as soon as the protest was over.



When the police tried to stop them, a scuffle broke out between the BJP and the police. The BJP workers raised slogans against the police. This led to a tense situation.



Following this, the police arrested more than 250 people, including more than 100 women, who were involved in the protest.
