Reacting to the actor's comments in the interview, members of the 'All India Hindu Mahasaba', Coimbatore Chapter have filed a petition to the District Collector seeking action against the actor for registering comments against the Constitution and National Integrity.
The petitioners have stated that, 'In recent times, Actor Kamal Hassan has been on a spree of passing provoking and baseless statements alleging the Government. The Actor has openly revealed that politicians have played a big role in causing delay in release of his movie 'Visawaroopam', which is utterly 'false'. This Actor is working hand in hand with 'some' people to create agitation and disrupt the harmony. Hence action should be initiated against him'. said the petitioners of 'All India Hindu Mahasaba'.
