The main pipeline that carries water from Pilloor to the City has been damaged hence water supply will be disrupted in Ward :No: 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, and 100.
'The main 500 mm AC pipeline that passes by the Singanallur- Vellalore route has been reported to be damaged. This main pipeline is considered to be critical as it caters to the supply of drinking water to the entire South Zone.
However, manpower has been deployed to fix the pipelines on priority, until such time the above mentioned wards will have delay in water supply' said Corporation Commissioner DR. K. Vijayakarthikeyan.
