The Women Empowerment Cell of Sree Narayana Guru College celebrated International Women’s Day and valedictory function of Women Empowerment Cell on 8th March 2017. Dr. K. V. Surendran, Principal presided over the function and Sasmitta K. Aroraa, Directress of Shankaram, Institute of Dance and Music delivered a special lecture on “Adoring the artistic values in Women”.
She also discussed the values of women as mother and she educated her audience how she continues to stay focussed to focusing toward her goals. As a part of the celebrations, an awareness rally on gender equality was hosed. Dr. P Saravanakumari, Convener of Women Empowerment Cell presented the annual report of the cell and proposed the vote of thanks.
