Air passenger arrested for smuggling gold worth 41-lakhs

The officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Coimbatore arrested P.R.Divakaran, of Changanacherry, aged 51 years, for smuggling 1 Kg 406 grams of gold worth around 41-lakhs concealed in his checked in baggage at the Coimbatore International Airport. This passenger arrived by Air Arabia flight no.G9 413. A source shares with us that further investigation is on.
