Coimbatore: Students of Camford School in Maniyakaranpalayam area of Coimbatore have designed a realistic model of the Chandrayaan and also painted the Chandrayaan spacecraft on their cheeks.

ISRO scientists created history by successfully landing Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander softly on the moon's south pole on August 23. Even as the whole country celebrates the historic event, the Camford School students did their bit to honour the ISRO scientists to celebrate their success in handling the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft.

The students made a realistic model that looked like a Pragyan rover landing from Vikram lander and painted the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft and the national flag on their cheeks. The students celebrated the ISRO Director Veeramuthuvel from Tamil Nadu who is now renowned for bringing glory to India by carrying spare parts from Coimbatore for the spacecraft.
