TASMAC vendor argues with staff demanding Rs 10 extra for liquor bottle near Palladam

An argument broke out between the two after a vendor forced a labourer who had come to buy liquor at a TASMAC shop on Chettipalayam Road near Palladam to pay Rs 10 extra for a quarter bottle.

Tirupur: In a shocking incident, a TASMAC vendor in Palladam in Tirupur district had an argument with a labourer over Rs 10 for a quarter bottle.

A TASMAC shop numbered 1830 is functioning on Chettipalayam Road near Palladam. Despite stiff opposition from the public, the public has announced that they will stage a protest on The 8th demanding the closure of the shop in the area.

The tasmac shop, which is located in an area about 20 feet from the national highway where residential and commercial establishments are located, had demanded an additional Rs 10 per quarter from a labourer who had come to buy a bottle of liquor.

The worker replied that the minister himself had ordered him not to charge more than Rs 10 per bottle. A TASMAC shop vendor said that the minister had said that he had told him not to buy it from next month and that he had bought the quarter bottle that he had given him.

At one point, the seller returned the money as the worker got into an argument. While the customer who spoke about the incident had said that the minister himself had said that the labourer's body was drinking due to pain, the TASMAC employee expressed anguish that he was behaving rudely.
