Today morning, a Woman around 35 years of age was spotted in a mentally-ill condition at the Sathy - Vilankuruchi Road. The Women was not identifiable by the residents of that area and she looked in a very desolate state with her dresses in a torn state.The public informed the Police control room and simultaneously to 108 ambulance service also. But unfortunately, the ambulance department denied to shift the woman to the Government Hospital for treatment and care.

The information was passed on in the 'Namma Kovai' whatsapp group addressing the group members to pass on the information to apt trust or persons who could help the Woman. Shortly, Eera Nenjam Mahendran who runs Eera Nenjam Trust for abandoned people assured to take care of the situation and went to the spot along with his volunteers.
By the time, good-hearted people from Indian Public School, Kaumaram Prashanti School for Special Children and an employee of Cognizant Technologies, Bala took care of the woman by comforting her with clothes and water.

Speaking on this, Mahendran Founder of Eera Nenjam Trust said that, 'The Woman seems to be a North Indian and completely unstable. She is not able to answer or identify herself. At present, she requires a thorough medical check up and some salines, as she looks very dehydrated. The next course of action will be decided after her preliminary check ups'.
Presently, the woman is been shifted to Government Hospital for treatment by Mahendran of Eera Nenjam Trust. Tasleema of Change Trust, Syed from Osai Trust along with Mahendran from Eera Nenjam Trust are doing the needful to identify the whereabouts of this woman.

Truly, all the good-hearted people who were involved in sheltering and comforting this desolate Woman deserve a million appreciations.
