Sulur police arrest a migrant worker staying at Kangayampalayam in Sulur for selling ganja

Shivkumar Sahani (35), son of Rajendra Sahani, a resident of Muzaffarpur in Bihar and now a resident of Kangayampalayam Metthai Veedu Street, has been arrested.



The Sulur police arrested a labourer from the northern state who was staying at Kangayampalayam in Sulur in Coimbatore district for selling ganja and sent him to jail.

Shivkumar Sahani (35), son of Rajendra Sahani, a resident of Muzaffarpur in Bihar and now a resident of Kangayampalayam methai veedu Street, has been arrested. It is learnt that he has been staying at Kangayampalayam for the past seven years and has been working as a construction worker.

In this case, the Office of the Superintendent of Police of Coimbatore district received a tip-off that Shivkumar Sahani was selling ganja at Kangayampalayam. Following this, a police team led by Special Sub-Inspector Kuppuraj conducted a raid at Kangayampalayam. Shivkumar Sakhani was caught red-handed while selling ganja near kangayampalayam bus stop.



He was questioned by the police and they seized 2 kg of ganja hidden for sale from the hideout.



The Sulur police registered a case and arrested Shivakumar Sahani. He was produced before the Sulur court and remanded in judicial custody to coimbatore central jail.
