Social justice party celebrates International Women's Day before South Taluk office in city

A section of members of women's wing of Coimbatore district Social welfare celebrated the International women's day in front of the South Taluk office in the city today. C. Girihja the party's State women’s wing secretary presided over the celebrations. As a part of today’s celebrations, women from all walks of life gathered and cut a cake.



A group of women played Parai a percussion instrument and the women raised a few demands which include, 50 percent reservation should be provided to the women in education and employment, weapons should be provided to the women for their self-defence, a separate law should be brought to prevent honour killing among other demands.
