District Collector Kranthi Kumar presides over the monthly road safety and law review meeting in Coimbatore!

The District Collector of Coimbatore, KranthiKumar Pati, chaired a monthly review meeting at the Collectorate focusing on road safety and law and order. In his address, he highlighted the growing vehicular traffic in the district and the various measures taken to raise awareness among motorists, such as through the Corporation Highways Department, Regional Transport Officers, Police Department and others.


Coimbatore: The monthly review meeting on road safety and law and order was conducted at the Collectorate in Coimbatore, presided over by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati.

District Superintendent of Police Badrinarayanan, Corporation Commissioner Prathap, District Revenue Officer Sharmila, Pollachi Sub-Collector, Regional Transport Officers, Assistant Commissioners of Police and other officials participated in the meeting.



Speaking during the meeting, the District Collector stated that as vehicular traffic in the Coimbatore district increases, various measures are being implemented to promote road safety and prevent accidents. The Corporation Highways Department, Regional Transport Officers, Police Department, and other departments are raising awareness among motorists.

He said that steps will be taken to conduct road rules refresher training and road safety awareness camps for private schools, colleges, state transport corporations, industrial establishments, and commercial public utility vehicle drivers in Coimbatore in collaboration with the bio-system, district administration, police, and transport department.
