National Women's Front all set to celebrate International Women’s Day with theme ‘Let us bring the change

Today, a press meet was hosted at the Coimbatore Press Club (CPC) in view of the International Women's Day that is observed on 8 March.

State President of National Women's Front K. I. Sharmila Bhanu presided over this media interaction. N. Fathima State secretary, State executive committee member M. Shakanas, District president N. Ubaida, District secretary S. Sumaiah and branch head K. Fathima also participated in this press meet.



When speaking to the press, the members stated that International Women's Day will be celebrated all across India with the slogan 'Let us bring the change' tomorrow, 8 March. Poster campaigns, distribution of pamphlets, processions, meetings and conferences will be hosted across Tamilnadu as a part of celebrations. The organisers urged women to participate in the various events that are aimed at empowering women in our society.
