TMMK members blocked the Coimbatore-Trichy National Highway in order to demand a speed breaker

TMMK workers staged a roadblock in response to a series of accidents on the Coimbatore-Trichy National Highway in Anna Nagar. Traffic on Coimbatore-Trichy national highway has been severely affected. The police reached the spot and compromised the protestors.



Tirupur: Every day, almost 500 vehicles use the Palladam-Coimbatore-Trichy national highway in Tirupur district.

The accident took place this morning when a car rammed into a two-wheeler which was trying to cross the Coimbatore-Trichy National Highway in Anna Nagar area. A father and his daughter, who were travelling on a two-wheeler, were injured in the incident.



Following this, palladam TMMK activists conducted a road roko to demand a speed breaker to prevent frequent accidents in the area.



Meanwhile, Palladam police, who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident, spoke with the protestors. Following this, the protesters dispersed after being promised to take action in the talks.
