Lone Tusker enters Agricultural Farm in Coimbatore's PudhuPathy Village!

A lone wild elephant has been wreaking havoc in a local farm for the last three days - breaking the fence and camping in the farmer's yard all night, causing damage to the bananas. Yesterday night, the elephant arrived at 10 p.m. and stayed until 7 a.m. this morning, causing even more destruction.


Coimbatore: Easwaran is from the PudhuPathy village in the Coimbatore Mavuthampathi panchayat on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. On his 6-acre farm, he cultivates bananas.



A lone wild elephant had broken the fence and camped in his yard all night for the last three days, causing damage to the bananas.

Similarly, the elephant entered the farm at 10 a.m. yesterday night and stayed in the garden until 7 a.m. today.



When the Madukkarai range forest department was informed of the incident, they struggled for a long time and chased the elephant into the forest.



The farmers demanded that the elephant, which was camping for the farm at night, should be stopped at the forest limits and driven into the forest.
