For the first time in Tamil Nadu Police, 2 graduate women constables in the dog squad

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the recruitment of women constables into the Tamil Nadu Police, two young graduate women constables have been inducted into the dog squad in Coimbatore for the first time, and a six-month training session began for them.

Coimbatore: For the first time in the Tamil Nadu Police, two young graduate women constables have been inducted into the dog squad in Coimbatore.

Women constables have been serving in the Tamil Nadu police force for more than 50 years. To celebrate the occasion, women constables have been trained all the wings in Coimbatore city and are being admitted to each department.

A few days ago, training camps were held for women constables in the police force to operate heavy vehicles, including vajras.

For the first time in the Tamil Nadu police department, the city police have invited interested women constables to include women constables in the dog squad.

Kavipriya (25) from Tirupur district and Bhavani (26) from Theni district, who are serving in the Coimbatore City Armed Forces, have expressed their willingness.

Following this, work has begun to train the two young graduate women constables for six months in the city police's dog squad department.

Kavipriya and Bhavani, who have been training for the last 20 days, will be inducted into the Coimbatore city dog squad after the training.

According to the young women constables, the opportunity has been given to aspiring women constables on the orders of the city police commissioner.

We have chosen this category because of the general interest in pets. It is much easier to train as the police personnel present here are properly trained and encouraged. Thus they said.

The inclusion of women constables in the dog squad has been well received by fellow cops.
