In recent times the sexual assault on girl children has increased multi-fold. Confederation of Indian Industry, Coimbatore Chapter will be conducting an awareness programme 'MASOOM' against child abuse on 5th March.
During this awareness session, a talk show will be hosted to educate the parents and children on child abuse and how they have to encounter it. The programme also focuses to strengthen the bond between parents and children as by doing, children will open up to their parents on issues relating to abuse.
A press meet was conducted at the Yi office premises in this regard. Deputy President of the Young Indians, Priyadarshini when speaking to the press said, “Yi has been conducting various programmes in schools since the past two years. Awareness among Parents and the Children on abuse-related issues and safety is the need of the hour. Hence we decided to conduct an awareness programme - 'MASOOM'. This awareness programme will be conducted at the Kikani School on 5th of March. Bharathi Baskar an eminent speaker will participate in this programme as the Chief Guest'. she said.
