Painter falls from 4th floor, died as no one comes to help him even after an hour

In a frightening incident, Chandran (50), a labourer who fell from the fourth floor while painting in a private apartment near Vadavalli in Coimbatore, died after struggling for an hour as no one came to rescue him.


Coimbatore: In a tragic incident, a labourer died after falling off from a saramwhile applying paint near Vadavalli.

Lotus Apartments is located at Vembu Avenue near Vadavalli in Coimbatore. The painting work is going on in this apartment.

Chandran (50), a resident of Athipalayam and Haridas of Saibaba Colony, were brought to work today along with a painter named Murali.

At around 9.30 pm, they started painting with a hanging string.



Chandranhas hung on the saram and painted it. The other two are holding the rope.

After some time the rope broke and he fell down from the fourth-floor building and was battling for his life after the back of his head collided with a wall.



Those who worked with them are standing trembling in fear of going near them.

Chandran, who was battling for his life in a pool of blood, did not get any medical help even after an hour. No one took him to a nearby hospital. After a long time, they called the 108 ambulance.

The doctors came there and examined him and informed that he was dead.



The Vadavalli police, who reached the spot on receiving the information, recovered his body and sent it to the government hospital for post-mortem.

In a shocking incident, the worker died in broad daylight as no one came to help a man who was fighting for his life near an apartment complex.
