Cleansing Coimbatore: Intensified Efforts to Remove Sewage from Race Course Road!

Due to heavy rains in Coimbatore district yesterday, the underground drains in the Race Course area were filled up and the people suffered a lot due to the discharge of sewage water on the roads. Corporation employees were actively involved in the work of removing sewage water.


Coimbatore: Due to yesterday's heavy rains in Coimbatore, the drain in the Race Course area became clogged, and sewage water spilled down the road, creating annoyance to the residents.

Coimbatore has been drenched for the past three days. As a result, municipal corporation staff are removing accumulated rainwater from various sites, including the government hospital, as soon as possible.



The drains in the Race Course area were clogged by heavy rains last night, and sewage water flowed down the road.



People suffered as a result of sewage water accumulating on the side of the road for about one km.



The corporation employees, who reached the spot after receiving information, are engaged in repairing the blockages in the drains through tankers and removing the stagnant water.
