The Annual event of Park Global Schools (Kaniyur and Sitra campus) was celebrated today with the theme an ecstatic expedition into space “INTERSCHOOLAR”.
The Principal of the school H.Natarajan delivered the welcome address and presented the Annual Report. Anusha R, CEO of Park Group of Institutions, in her Presidential Address said, “As is the practice of the school, this year also the Chief Guest for the function is under-18 years of age. We do this to show that age is not a bar to excel. Children have to face various challenges and problems in this age and we need to educate them to face and overcome the challenges without fear. One such challenge is the entrance exam for medical and engineering.”

She mentioned that to help children overcome the difficulties and the fear of entrance exams an MoU is signed with Abdul Kalam Institute to train the students to face the exams without fear with the help of former JIT FEE faculties.
Master Jai D Aswani, Chief Guest of the day and a student of Grade-IX, Youngest Sportsman, Trainer, Coach, Social Activist and Podium Finisher proudly recognized by the honourable governor of Puduchery, Kiran Bedi for the initiative of Say-No to Crackers was the Chief guest of this grand event, who inspired the students with his speech.
In his speech he emphasized the need of fitness and good health. He is spreading awareness of fitness and health. His next venture is to train maximum number of girls during summer vacation on self defence. He advised the students to have 3D’s to succeed in life namely, Desire, Discipline, and Determination.
This was followed by a spectacular cultural programme on the theme of “SPACE” that was presented by the staff and students. This programme was designed with Padmavathy Kalyanam, Space Odyssey, Celestial Spheres, Milky Way, Aliens vs Robots, Clouds, Meteroids, Thunders in Planets, Shoot for the Stars, Civil Air Patrol, humming of the Planets, etc., which was an exotic retreat for the eyes. Each cultural event featured very elegantly and justified the theme in a mind blowing way.
Students who won laurels in various competitions and events were rewarded at this programme.
