Regional development office at Ganeshapuram in Annur, Coimbatore district has awarded the contract for constructing sewage water drainage systems to a contractor named Venkatesh. It been reported that the contractor was granted a deadline of 30 days to complete the work. But even after six months this works stands incomplete.
This has led to health hazards and also residents of this region are facing difficulties. The public especially elderly, children and women are unable to cross the pit that has been dug by the contractor. The natives of this region have requested that the collector takes necessary action and should ensure that the drainage works are completed as soon as possible.
