Grievance redressal meeting was hosted at the District Collectorate today. A section of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) members participated in the grievance redressal meeting at the District Collectorate by covering their faces with a black cloth to highlight the swine flu epidemic that has taken 9 lives already.
They also said that many people have been admitted to the hospitals in the city with symptoms of swine flu. The petitioners stated that action should be taken by the authorities to control the spread of swine flu. Swift action should be taken to screen the patients who visit the hospitals with fever and treatment should be provided accordingly they requested through the petitioners.
