Scorching summer heat - Sale of earthen pots on the rise

In view of this, in Udumalpet, pottery made of clay in various forms such as water pots jug, jar, round shape, old copper pot shape, piped earthen pot etc. have been put on sale.



Pots with a capacity of 10 litres to 30 litres are sold for Rs 250 to Rs 500 depending on the shape and capacity.

An earthen pot seller said that due to the increase in the impact of the heat, people are showing interest in buying earthen pots for homes, offices and establishments. 100 pots are sold every day, he said.
