In connection with Prime Minister Modi's visit to Coimbatore, security has been increased multi-fold at all important junctures in the city and at Isha Yoga Centre, Vellingiri. On 24th February, PM Modi will unveil the 112 foot tall Adiyogi statue at Isha Foundation.
With just another couple of days to go, central security force along with Prime Minister's special protection group, commandos, special weapons and tactics force, sniper force, personnel from rapid action force have been deployed at Isha. The security personnel are analyzing the security protocols and ensuring a strict vigil over the area.
A special helipad has been set near Isha to facilitate PM's landing. Today a rehearsal landing was conducted by the security officials at the helipad site.
