The spectacular and colorful three-day feast of music and dance hosted annually by Isha Foundation - Yaksha, commenced at the Isha Yoga Center today.
In an endeavor to preserve and promote their uniqueness and purity, Isha Foundation hosts 'Yaksha' a three day long Festival of culture, music and dance with performances by renowned artistes amidst the scenic and powerful space of the Dhyanalinga Complex. Yaksha hopes to provide a common platform for the artistes to perform and connoisseurs to witness and appreciate these ancient art forms.

Dr Manjunath and Dr Nagaraj, musical brothers from Mysore enthralled the audience with their scintillating Violin Duets in the first performance at Yaksha,2017. The Mysore brothers have an unrivaled record as star violin performers in prestigious organizations globally. The stellar performance which began at 6.50 p.m in front of the Suryakund Mandapam was witnessed by thousands of spectators in Sadhguru’s presence.

Following the event, the Maha Aarthi procession of Linga Bhairavi and Annadanam was offered to the devotees.
Tomorrow, on the second day of Yaksha , Srimathi Meenakshi Chithranjan will be presenting Bharatanatyam
performance with her group.
