Farmer dies as scooty collides with goods van in Udumalpet

Anbazhagan (40), a resident of Kannappan Nagar in Pollachi in Coimbatore district, When he was on his way to Poolankinar on a two-wheeler for work, he lost control and was killed in the accident when he hit a goods vehicle parked on the roadside.



Tirupur: One person was killed when a scooter rammed into a stationary goods vehicle at Poolankinar in Tirupur.

Anbazhagan (40) is a native of Kannappan Nagar in Pollachi in Coimbatore district. The farmer had come to Udumalpet due to his own work and was on his way back to Pollachi on his two-wheeler.



The two-wheeler skidded off the road and rammed into a goods van parked on the roadside when it arrived at Poolankinar area.

Anbazhagan, who was seriously injured in the incident, was rescued by neighbours and rushed to Udumalai government hospital for treatment. There he was given first aid treatment. But within no time Anbazhagan died tragically. Udumalai police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
