City Corporation continues to issue stern warnings to those who are yet to clear their pending corporation taxes indicating a fine along with disconnection of basic amenities like water connection. The civic body continues to create awareness amongst the public through announcements to render their corporation taxes on-time promptly. In the past, by going soft on the defaulters, Corporation has failed to recover the dues as the defaulters pay no heed to the warnings and notices.
A press release from the Corporation today states that water connection has been terminated at a residence in ward no:59 for non-payment of corporation taxes, despite serving notices.
Officials also affirm that Corporation will continue to act tough on tax defaulters, hence citizens of all five zones are asked to pay their taxes on-time, every time!
