Coimbatore: The Legal Services Authority (LSA) has created a legal awareness programme on human trafficking at a women's home at Ondipudur in Coimbatore district.
The Coimbatore District Legal Services Authority is conducting various awareness programmes. Accordingly, awareness on human trafficking was created at the Government Women's Home located in Ondipudur area today.
K.S.S.Siva, Coimbatore district secretary and sub-judge of the committee, created awareness about human trafficking among the women in the women's home. He also inspected whether the necessary facilities were being provided in the shelter home in a proper manner.
Women's Home Superintendent Sivakami and the staff of the shelter home were also present on the occasion.
