Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Dr Vijayakarthikeyan, today conducted an inspection at Radhakrishnan street in Gandhipuram which comes under the 52nd ward of Coimbatore corporation.
He inspected the door to door application of Abate mosquito repellent in water storage tanks and insisted the sanitary workers to discard all unwanted garbage on time. As such trash becomes the breeding ground for disease-causing germs.
Corporation Commissioner also inspected the waste segregation at source carried out by the sanitation workers. The on-going construction of E-toilet that is carried out in the Gandhipuram bus station was also inspected. District Welfare Officer Hemalatha, Assistant Executive Engineer Kalavathi and other Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
