Four Ganja peddlers arrested from Thadagam, over 7 kg ganja seized

Four persons, including three youths, have been arrested for storing and selling ganja in the Periyathadagam area.


Coimbatore: Police have arrestedfour personsfrom the Periyathadagam area and seized 7 kg of ganja from them. They were found to be selling ganja in the Thadagam area.

District Superintendent of Police Badri Narayanan is actively working towards creating a drug-free Coimbatore and frequent raids are carried out to round up ganja peddlers active in the city.

Thadagam police have received a tip-off that ganja is being stored for sale in the Periyathadagam area on Monday.

Based on thetip-off, a team headed by a sub-inspectorintercepted the gang of ganja peddlers at the Periyathadagam area.



The names of the arrested were given as Yogesh Kumar, Ruben Prasidhan, Hadith Sabir and a boy from Dindigul district.
