“Muslims living in Britain had earlier complained to the British government that their relatives were being killed. Subsequently, the British government ordered an inquiry. It was only then that the BBC released the evidence” he said.

“In this context, Vajpayee, who was the prime minister at the time, had then told Modi that the latter should follow “Raj dharma”, but Modi failed to do so” Jawahirulla noted.

"We have been consistently demanding the release of those who have been involved in various crimes, including criminal cases, and languishing in jails for more than 20 years. We have also appointed a committee for this and have given that report. We expect everyone to be released soon”

“There will be a change of government at the Centre in the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections and a multiparty government will be formed” Jawahirulla noted.
