'AIADMK MLAs should take a wise decision' says BJP State President Tamilisai.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Tamilisai Soundararajan has stated that “AIADMK leader Sasikala's conviction in the disproportionate assets case is the first step in the abolition of corruption. AIADMK MLAs should take a wise decision keeping in mind the welfare of the people” she said.

When interacting with the press at the Coimbatore International Airport she said, “Tamil Nadu has been saved by this verdict our wish is that corruption should be abolished and Tamil Nadu should move towards corruption-free politics.” she said.

“During Former Chief Minister late J. Jayalalitha's initial reign, she was ruling the state without corruption. But after she developed her friendship with Sasikala, corruption started to erupt. But now, right punishment has been given to the offenders', she said.

“AIADMK MLAs should take a clear decision so that a stable government free of corruption could be established. Enquiry should be conducted on the issue of MLAs being held captive in the resort. Governor taking time to decide upon forming the Government is absolutely fair. Though there have been demands for a re-election as an uncertainty looms over the government of Tamil Nadu. Decision on election should be taken only after consultations.” Tamilisai said.

She also slammed that, 'Dravidar Kazhagam leader Veeramani, Viduthalai Chiruthaikal leader Thirumavalavan, Tamil Nadu Congress committee President Thirunavukkarasar have issued statements that corruption is not the major issue now but BJP is trying to enter through the back door, using the confused state of politics in Tamil Nadu”.

Answering to their allegation, Tamilisai said 'BJP party has already started to gain foothold in Tamil Nadu. Hence, we will come to power in a honest way, there is no need for us to use back door politics'.
