Leopard enters Kanuvai poultry farm and kills chicken; CCTV footage

Cctv footage of a leopard entering a poultry farm in Somaiyampalayam near Kanuvai in the wee hours on Saturday has gone viral on social media.


Coimbatore: The movement of elephants and wild boars in various areas of Coimbatore district, including Kanuvai and Thadagam, has been on the rise for the past few months.

In the meantime, the incident of the leopard carrying the goats in Thiruvalluvar Nagar and Somayanur areas near Kanuvai created a lot of panic.



In this situation, a poultry farm owned by Ashwin is functioning in Yamuna Nagar, Somaiyampalayam near Kanuvai.



Meanwhile, the leopard entered the poultry farm at around 4 am on Saturday and took away the chickens from the farm.



The footage was captured on a CCTV camera. The visuals have now gone viral on social media and have created a lot of buzz.

In this situation, the public have demanded that the leopard, which is threatening the public and capturing the cattle, should be caught immediately.
