Special decoration of four tonnes of Sugarcane greet visitors to the Anjaneya temple at Nava India

A large number of people have been visiting the Anjaneya temple since early morning to offer prayers and the decoration on the facade and the entire temple entrance have been decorated with about 4 tonnes of sugarcane.


Coimbatore: A special decoration using 4 tonnes of sugarcane attracted the devotees at the famous Anjaneya temple in the Nava India area in view of the Pongal .The decoration made at the facade of the temple has impressed everyone.

Even as the Pongal is being celebrated by all Tamils across the world with great fervour and gaiety, people visit temples in the morning to worship.

Special poojas have been performed in all the temples since early morning.

As a part of this, special poojas are performed at the Anjaneya temple in the Nava India area of Coimbatore on the occasion of Pongal.

The devotees who come to the temple offer various items including butter to Lord Anjaneya and offer prayers.
