Central government is trying to paralyse the Tamil Nadu government, says Krishnasamy Veeramani

President of the Dravidar Kazhagam, Krishnasamy Veeramani has stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are trying to implement article 356 in Tamil Nadu.

Krishnasamy Veeramani interacted with the press today in Coimbatore. During the intercalation he said “The present political situation in Tamil Nadu is very chaotic. The central government is trying to paralyse the government in Tamil Nadu. The political situation in Tamil Nadu is critical hence it is the responsibility of the Governor to take steps to maintain the law and order situation in the state'.

Commenting on the chain of political events that have taken place in our state recently, Krishnasamy Veeramani said “The resignation of Chief Minister O. Pannerselvam cannot be withdrawn as the governor has accepted his resignation. The governor can conduct an enquiry if O. Panneerselvam was forced to tender his resignation. The governor has the powers to order for a CBI enquiry. Despite, Sasikala ready to prove her majority, unnecessarily delaying the process is totally against democracy.

He questioned as to why the Governor is delaying in inviting Sasikala which has the majority to form the government? 'This, he said is a clear indication that the BJP and RSS are trying to enter in Tamil Nadu politics through the back door as they have continually failed to establish themselves in Tamil Nadu so far. BJP is playing double game by supporting both O. Pannerselvam and V.K. Sasikala'.

Krishnasamy Veeramani added that “Seeing all this, suspicion arise if the Governor is working as a tool for BJP government who are trying to saffronise the state of Tamil Nadu. Governor should conduct an inquiry on kidnapping of the MLAs and why they have been made to stay in an undisclosed location?  At present as far as the DMK is concerned, DMK has no chance of forming a government” he said.

Dravidar Kazhagam is an Indian organization based in Tamil Nadu which is opposed to the caste system and activities and projects of this organisation are dedicated to the welfare of socially disadvantaged. 83-year old Krishnasamy Veeramani who is referred as Aasiriyar K.Veeramani currently serves as President of the Dravidar Kazhagam and he is Chancellor of Periyar Maniammai University.
