Coimbatore District Collector releases final voters' list

In the final electoral roll of Coimbatore district which has been released by the Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran, Coimbatore has 14,98,721 male voters, 15,51,421 female voters and 558 third gender voters.



Coimbatore: Applications for inclusion, deletion and correction of names in the electoral rolls were received from November 9 to December 8 at all polling booths in 10 constituencies in Coimbatore district, and appropriate action was taken.



The final voters' list for 10 constituencies in Coimbatore district was released on Thursday by the Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran.



Accordingly, the total number of voters in Coimbatore district stands at 30,50,700. There are 14,98,721 male voters, 15,51,421 female voters and 558 other voters.

Mettupalayam - 2,99,304

Sulur - 3,18,364

Kavundampalayam - 4,57,408

Coimbatore North - 3,31,062

Thondamuthur - 3,26,895

Coimbatore South - 2,43,819

Singanallur - 3,23,962

Kinathukadavu - 3,29,186

Pollachi - 2,23,316

Valparai - 1,97,384



Arrangements have also been made for the public to register their petitions through the website www.nvsp.in or through a mobile application called 'Voters Helpline' regarding the inclusion, deletion and correction of names in the electoral rolls.
