The Economic affairs and taxation panel of the Coimbatore chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently hosted a one day seminar on compliance related matters.
Compliance of various laws and regulations are of vital importance for any growing organization. Any lapse of gap of the same results in huge fine and hefty penal provisions for the business entities. In order to disseminate information on various statutes, this one day compliance conclave programme was hosted.
Eminent persons such as SSN Moorthy, Former CBDT Chairman, Ilango Past Chairman CII, Kapil Goel, Supreme Court lawyer among others participated in this day-long programme.
Chief Guest K P Krishnakumar, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax inaugurated this programme. He also released a tax compliance hand book, compiled by GKM Tax Advisors Private Limited. Nethra Kumar, Chairperson of CII, Coimbatore chapter welcomes the gathering.
