Pookaari.com presents Masaba's unique designs for the first time in Coimbatore.

Wake up Fashionistas! The trendy and savvy young designer Masaba Gupta is here in the city of Coimbatore showcasing her latest designs in a pop-up show organised by Pookaari.com, a brand that offers curated designer fashion and retail experiences.

Masaba is a diffusion line label under Masaba Gupta. Unique and revolutionary in essence, Masaba is one of India's most successful fashion labels under Masaba Gupta. Since its inception, the label has worked intensively with prints and the ability to turn mundane everyday objects into prints has been the mantra of the label.

Shrivyshnavi Annush, Founder & Curator of Pookaari.com shared that, 'This two-day pop up will present 'Masaba' an iconic and most sought after brand for stylish prints on cool fabric. The prints draw inspiration from many real life encounters like animals, tribes and other artistic forms. The exemplary blend of contemporary and modern patterns add flair to the product. The quirky oil print on the foil will gain the attention of fashion lovers across age groups."

This pop event features some exclusively curated collection of Tunics, Lehengas, Sarees, Jackets and Dhoti Pants. Teenagers and women will definitely be enthralled by the signature collections. The alluring Crape Yellow Saree with Chilly Print and Tussles on Pallu is definitely the show stealer! And, visitors took a special liking for this saree.

The Lehengas in crape material with bold gota borders is a huge hit amongst the teenagers. "Gorgeous designs, yet light-weight is the reason why most of the people prefer wearing it", Shrivyshnavi Annush added. Unique in its way, both trendy and traditional lovers have a wide variety to choose from. The products in display range from Rs.4000 to Rs.15,000.

"It's a misconception that all fashionable products and designer clothing are affordable only to an affluent few. To the contrary, today we have buyers and visitors from all walks of life" said Shrivyshnavi cheerfully.

Seconding her was a member from Masaba who shared, 'It's for the very first time Masaba is hosting its collection in Coimbatore. Masaba is actually testing waters with Pookaari.com's popup event. Surprisingly, the experimental products that we displayed here have all sold out first, which shows the passion for fashion and acceptance to new things with the people of Coimbatore. When compared to Mumbai, Coimbatore is a city with very few social events and hence chances for wearing such fashionable outfits is very low. But, as the city grows, people's interest towards fashion and being trendy will also increase simultaneously. Today, being day-one, we are very content about the footfalls and sales'.

The two-day pop up show is organised at 15, GD Street, Race Course and will be open from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm on February 9th and 10th.
