Many companies use open software today. The Ministry of HRD has taken various efforts to make the software available to the public. The Government of India has adopted the strategies to use open software’s to its websites and it has more confidentiality and security. Students can learn to use the software from the videos presentations which explains the step by step procedures about using the software.
These systems help to improve the employable skills of the students. The MHRD recent reports say that 26 % of the students only immediately got placements after completing their degrees and only 9 % of the rural students know how to prepare and type their resumes. This issue needs to be addressed and improved'
