Coimbatore district TMC youth wing stage protest condemning property tax, milk price hike

Protesting against property tax hike, electricity tariff hike, milk price hike, the Youth wing of the Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) cadres demanded a roll back of hiked tariff and prices.



Coimbatore: District unit of Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) staged a protest against hike in property tax, electricity tariff hike, milk price hike, in front of the South Taluk office.



The protest was led by Tamil Maanila Congress State Youth wing President Yuvaraja in which more than 100 cadres participated and raised slogans condemning the DMK government.



The protest demanded an immediate cancellation of the price hike of essential commodities and services. It was also alleged that the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu had deteriorated fast.



Coimbatore City TMC Youth wing President Karthik Kannan, District President V V Vasan, senior functionary Kuniyamuthur Arumugam, party functionaries and cadres took part in the protest.
