A meeting was convened at the Coimbatore Collector's office about the establishment of Aavin sales outlets at all educational institutions and private companies. District Revenue Officer conducted the meeting and Aavin Union president Pa. Damodahran presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, discussion was held to increase the sales of Aavin products by establishing new Aavin sales centers at educational institutions and industries. Products like milkshakes, icecream, butter, ghee, panneer and all milk related products will be sold through these outlets.
This decision has been derived in the intent of focusing on additional sales volume and also to deliver highest quality products to the school and college-going students. The milk products will undergo a 19 point check on quality process before reaching the outlets and thus we aim to deliver supreme quality of milk products to the consumers, said the officials.
Definitely, this initiative will help students access to local healthy products as there has been a ban on coke and pepsi products at most of the educational institutions, state-wide.
Mrs. Sumathi, General Manager of Aavin, Assistant General manager (sales) Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Assistant General manager (quality control) Mr. Chakaravarthi and Assistant General manager (Farm) Chakaravarthy and government officials participated in this meeting.
